Family Ride
This two mile course will be escorted by a Bicycle Police Patrol through the surrounding blocks of Victorian homes in the town of Media. Imagine a family peloton parading down
State Street, finishing a grand cycling event!

Walk-a-Long
Stroll the 2 mile Family Ride route through Media center and enjoy the ambiance of this charming village. The Walk-a-long is readily accessible to blind and visually impaired participants as well as sighted fund raisers. Volunteers will be on hand as sighted guides if needed and will assist at all crossings and intersections. Non-riders, join in the fun and be part of Bike 4 Sight!

Short Ride
This thirteen mile course follows tree canopied roads into Ridley Creek State Park. The route showcases the beauty of the park. After a refreshing rest stop, the route continues on shaded roads back into Media with a final procession down
State Street. This course has been redesigned with fewer hills. The remaining hills are not long or steep.

Medium Ride
The first six and a half miles of this twenty-five mile course follows the thirteen mile route but continues on moderately hilly roads past fields with grazing horses and old stone barns. After a rest stop at a recently restored historic
Victorian train station in Glen Mills, the course returns, bordering Tyler Arboretum before the final flourish down State Street. The course is moderately challenging but very scenic.

Long and Metric Century Routes
The fifty mile and sixty-two mile routes explore the scenic splendors of Chester County, Delaware County, and New Castle County, Delaware. If you dare to attack these very challenging courses, you will ride past small stately horse farms, a secluded winery, numerous babbling brooks, Brandywine Battlefield State Park, and will enjoy a rest stop on the grounds of the Winterhur Museum & Country Estate. Access www.winterthur.org to preview Winterthur's 60-acre
naturalistic garden, where choice plants from around the world are orchestrated to bloom in full springtime splendor for your touring enjoyment. Both courses have numerous hills with varying degrees of steepness and length. The sixty-two mile route is the more demanding course.
Rest assured, the breathtaking, picturesque vistas of
these rides will make the challenges worthwhile.
